THERAPY OUTLINE

The speech pathologist works closely with children and adults of all ages to help them achieve their communication and swallowing goals through a personalised and holistic approach.

Therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment to identify specific needs and challenges, followed by the development of an individualised treatment plan.

The speech pathologist provides ongoing therapy, utilising engaging and age-appropriate activities, while also offering education and strategies for families and caregivers to support progress at home.

The speech pathologist uses evidence-based techniques to target speech sound production, receptive and expressive language skills, literacy development, and swallowing function.

Through regular monitoring and adjustments to the treatment plan, the speech pathologist ensures that each client makes meaningful strides toward their communication and swallowing goals, fostering greater independence and confidence.
